The flexible connections are designed for installation on refrigeration systems, having the role of damping the vibrations transmitted by the compressor to the pipes of the refrigeration system, reducing the risk of damage and noise and to compensate for small thermal expansion of the pipes. Flexible connections can be installed on both the suction and discharge lines of the refrigeration system, as close as possible to the compressor. These connections are not designed to compensate for the pipe gap and should be installed perpendicular to the direction of vibration. For maximum vibration damping, the refrigerant line must be anchored.
